MTB Media World Cup Warmia&Masuria
Warmia and Mazury is a green region of Poland famous for its lakes (there are more then 2000 of them) and varied landscape. Here on the 11-14th May 2017 will be held the first edition of MTB Media World Cup Warmia&Masuria 2017. The event is organized for media people passionate with cycling. World Cup is a regular event held each year in the spring.
MTB Media World Cup Warmia&Masuria 2017 will host 130 athletes representing editorial staffs from 25 countries from around the world. The organizers prepared very interesting and demanding routes for women and for men. First edition of the World Cup will consist of races in Lidzbark Warminski.
The main race will take place on 12th May on an MTB track at Góra Krzyżowa. At the end of the race, the first 3 participants of each category will be awarded. Winners get the MTB Media World Cup Warmia&Masuria 2017 title + gold, silver and bronze medals for places 1 to 3 sponsored by the wellnessinpoland.com as proud supporter of the MTB Media World Cup Warmia&Masuria 2017.
The race categories are the following:
Open M (men) - Distance-21 km (5 rounds 4,2 km each)
M1 men up to 30 years old / up to 1987
M2 men 31 - 45 years old / 1986-1972
M3 men 46+ / 1971 and older
Open W (women) - Distance–12,6 km (3 rounds 4,2 km each)
W1 women up to 30 years old / up to 1987
W2 women 31 - 45 years old / 1986-1972
W3 women 46+ / 1971 and older

Accommodation - official partner Krasicki Hotel****
Organizers and sponsors of the MTB Media World Cup Warmia&Masuria 2017 provide transfer from Warsaw airport, accommodation and meals in Hotel Krasicki**** (3 nights' accommodation with breakfast, 3 dinners, 3 suppers, free use of the SPA zone - saunas, swimming pool, jacuzzi), a cruise on the Mazury lake district and accompanying events. The cost of participation is 190 Euro.

Thursday, 11th May - arrival, transportation from the airport to Lidzbark Warmiński, welcome dinner in Hotel Krasicki
Friday, 12th May - MTB race, regeneration in Termy Warmińskie (Warmia Therms). Medieval feast in the castle Hotel Krasicki
Saturday, 13th May - Cruise on the Śniardwy lake (biggest lake in Poland). In the evening – a special event in the castle: the anniversary of bishop’s Krasicki arrival.
Sunday, 14th May – transportation to the airport.
Honorary Patron of the Cup is the Minister of Sport and Tourism. Co-organizers of the Cup: Marshal of Warmia and Masuria Province, the Mayor of Lidzbark Warmiński.
